Brazilian Carrot Cake

Hi there, today I will share with you a delicious Brazilian Carrot Cake for the cake lovers. It`s easy to make and very delicious! So, let`s get started!
Have fun:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup of cooking oil
  • 3 medium shaved carrots
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups of self raising flour
  • 10 g of yeast
 SAUCE FOR THE TOP:




  • 1 table spoon (medium size) of butter 
  • 3 table spoons of chocolate powder
  • 1cup of sugar
  • 4 table spoons of milk
LET`S MAKE IT!

* Preheat the oven.
* Put in a blender first the shaved or sliced peeled carrots (however you prefer) with the eggs and the cooking oil and blend it for 5 minutes.
* Open the blender and add everything else to it except the yeast. 
* Blend the mix a little bit more until all the ingredients are properly mixed.
* Transfer the mix into a bowl and add the yeast slowly as well as mixing with a large or wooden spoon.
* Right, now that everything has been mixed together, pour the mix into the cooking tray
* Put in the oven (180ÂșC) from 30 to 40 minutes depending on the size of your tray.

FOR THE SAUCE:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together in a cooking pan, cook it in low to medium heat always stirring it up until the consistancy gets like a sauce consistancy (thick and sticky)
  2. When the cake is ready pour the sauce on top of the cake, add some sprinkles to it if you desire. Hope you enjoy it!!!
