BEEF STROGONOFF


HEY EVERYONE, HOW ABOUT BEEF STROGONOFF FOR DINNER ???

Prep time: 25 min

Cook time: 15 min

Serves: 3-4

     INGREDIENTS:


  • 500 g beef  fillet cut into strips
  • onions finely chopped
  • 2 table spoon sunflower oil
  • 45 g butter
  • 350 g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 table spoon of plain flour
  • 300 ml soured cream
  • 1 pinches black pepper
  • 1 pinch paprika

    METHODS:

     

    *. Heat half the oil in a frying pan over a high heat and fry half the beef for a few minutes until browned.

    *. Scoop out into a bowl and repeat with the remaining beef.

    *. Reduce the heat to medium, add half the butter to the pan, and add the mushrooms. Fry until tender. Scrape out into the bowl.

    *.Melt the remaining butter in the pan and add the onions. Stir them around and cook  until golden and soft.

    *. Return the mushrooms and beef to the pan. Sprinkle over the flour, stir and fry for a little bit longer.

    *. Finally add the soured cream, salt and pepper and cook gently for another 3 minutes until the sauce is thick.

    *. Spoon into a serving dish, and dust lightly with paprika.
